Spectators: 8003 (Terracing: 6004, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Tory Hamlin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th match minute, Fox Run Fc. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josh Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Bennett Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Hamlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Tory Hamlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bennett Thomas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Buies Creek's Stephen Stringer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Stephenson in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Buies Creek's Tory Hamlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bennett Thomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 25th minute of the match Morgan Beck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bennett Thomas skillfully saved the ball. Buies Creek's Stephen Stringer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Buies Creek from getting a goal against them. Bennett Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Oliver in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Fox Run Fc. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Connors to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fox Run Fc.'s zone, Tory Hamlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennett Thomas came out of the goal and Tory Hamlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Buies Creek's goalkeeper Stephen Stringer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlo Stephenson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tory Hamlin in the 46th minute of play forced Fox Run Fc.'s goalkeeper Bennett Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Buies Creek were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Wayne Velazquez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bennett Thomas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bennett Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Hamlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Stephenson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Stephen Stringer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Tory Hamlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buies Creek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tory Hamlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Fletcher Andersen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fox Run Fc.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fletcher Andersen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephen Stringer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 minutes of play, Buies Creek's Vicente Oliver made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bennett Thomas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bennett Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tory Hamlin in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fox Run Fc.'s zone, Vicente Oliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennett Thomas came out of the goal and Vicente Oliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Carlo Stephenson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fox Run Fc. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 82 minutes into the match, Fox Run Fc.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Oliver came free, but Bennett Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wayne Velazquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Tory Hamlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buies Creek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fox Run Fc. the free kick. In the 94th match minute, Buies Creek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tory Hamlin to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Buies Creek left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fox Run Fc..
