Isaiah Grove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garrett Kendrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Aaron in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaiah Grove prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14thth minute of the game Casey Whitfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona Sporting Club's Alexis Berger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Washburn FC booed when Barcelona Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaiah Grove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garrett Kendrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Duane Glenn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Washburn FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duane Glenn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexis Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casey Whitfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexis Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Whitfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Alexis Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casey Whitfield's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Fabian Aaron kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garrett Kendrick in the 39th minute of play forced Washburn FC's goalkeeper Isaiah Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaiah Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garrett Kendrick in the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Washburn FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Perry MacDonald hit a great ball. Casey Whitfield in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexis Berger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Garrett Kendrick to make the kick off. Barcelona Sporting Club's Alexis Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scottie Reid in the 53rd minute of play. Fabian Aaron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Isaiah Grove made a huge save. Washburn FC's Cliff Horner was substituted for Alonzo Donovan. With a little luck, Washburn FC's Isaiah Grove got control of the ball when Fabian Aaron tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Sal Hull was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona Sporting Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Washburn FC the free kick. If Scottie Reid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Cliff Horner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Washburn FC defense, Fabian Aaron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaiah Grove. The Washburn FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaiah Grove should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casey Whitfield in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexis Berger saved Barcelona Sporting Club from getting behind. The supporters of Barcelona Sporting Club booed when Washburn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scottie Reid didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Casey Whitfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Perry MacDonald during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Perry MacDonald hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Casey Whitfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona Sporting Club's Alexis Berger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Washburn FC fully deserved thier win.
