Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Austin Benedict took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as La Joya's Austin Benedict slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vernon McBride. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Austin Benedict managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Joya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Austin Benedict was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 played minutes Walnut Grove got a freekick which was hit by Dustin Hemphill. After 15 played minutes, La Joya's Bo Saunders shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vernon McBride came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Joya reached it. Ethan Healy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Cho in the 18th minute of play. Dalton Gabriel scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ethan Healy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalton Gabriel in the 25th minute of play forced La Joya's goalkeeper Ethan Healy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Walnut Grove's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Benedict came free, but Vernon McBride reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vernon McBride stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Austin Benedict's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. La Joya's Ethan Healy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalton Gabriel in the 31st minute of play. Austin Benedict sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Austin Benedict struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Vernon McBride didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Joya. 38 minutes into the game, Dustin Hemphill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Walnut Grove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Joya the free kick. Dustin Hemphill hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Darrel Teague sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La Joya's Ethan Healy didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Cho in the 44th minute of play forced La Joya's goalkeeper Ethan Healy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalton Gabriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ethan Healy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vernon McBride made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Benedict in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Cho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in La Joya's zone, Dante Cho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Healy came out of the goal and Dante Cho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Walnut Grove:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Joya:s goal. After a rather tough play, Walnut Grove's Dustin Hemphill got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Austin Benedict had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vernon McBride showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devin Coley in the 64th minute of the match. Austin Benedict blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vernon McBride having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, Walnut Grove's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Benedict came free, but Vernon McBride reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Cho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Austin Benedict sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, La Joya's Ethan Healy got control of the ball when Dalton Gabriel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eli Elder hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Dalton Gabriel made a precise shot to the right of Ethan Healy. La Joya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Dante Cho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Healy having to interfere. With his leg Ethan Healy managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Walnut Grove's Dalton Gabriel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dalton Gabriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ethan Healy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
