Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Eusebio McGee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casey Whitfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaiah Grove came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Walnut Grove's Dalton Gabriel. But to his dismay, Dalton Gabriel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Casey Whitfield blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vernon McBride having to make a save. In the 12th minute of the match Eusebio McGee shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaiah Grove showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vernon McBride showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Whitfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casey Whitfield in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vernon McBride saved Walnut Grove from getting behind. When Jordan Canales fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walnut Grove's protests and gave Jordan Canales a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Walnut Grove getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jordan Canales hit a great ball. When Washburn FC's Casey Whitfield in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walnut Grove's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes into the game, Dalton Gabriel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Walnut Grove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Washburn FC the free kick. Duane Glenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Walnut Grove defense, Duane Glenn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vernon McBride. The Walnut Grove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vernon McBride should have stopped the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Casey Whitfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walnut Grove's Vernon McBride was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robbie Hicks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vernon McBride tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaiah Grove made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalton Gabriel in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalton Gabriel got free with Isaiah Grove in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 38 played minutes Washburn FC got a freekick which was hit by Robbie Hicks. Vernon McBride stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casey Whitfield's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casey Whitfield to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Deon Westbrook got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deon Westbrook hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The supporters of Washburn FC booed when Walnut Grove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deon Westbrook didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casey Whitfield didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 59th minute. Washburn FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The audience was convinced that Casey Whitfield's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vernon McBride was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Isaiah Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalton Gabriel in the 68th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Casey Whitfield made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Walnut Grove's Vernon McBride tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Scottie Reid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deon Westbrook charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deon Westbrook the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Walnut Grove getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Deon Westbrook hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Darrel Teague shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaiah Grove showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Washburn FC's Perry MacDonald got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Casey Whitfield reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vernon McBride. The goal made the score 1-5. Casey Whitfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Casey Whitfield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Washburn FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
