Spectators: 7410 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 60) After a rather tough play, PURDUE's Austin Melendez got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Wilfred Vang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stevie Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Hargrove having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hakim Belloumi in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Hargrove prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Caleb West hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stevie Thomas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th match minute, PURDUE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Banks to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in PURDUE's zone, Stevie Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Hargrove came out of the goal and Stevie Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Hakim Belloumi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PURDUE's Ramon Hargrove was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hakim Belloumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ramon Hargrove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Stevie Thomas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ramon Hargrove. After 19 minutes of play, PURDUE's Napoleon Quinn made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ollie Esposito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stevie Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. South Weber AFC's Ollie Esposito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save South Weber AFC from getting a goal against them. Ollie Esposito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duncan Villegas in the 29th minute of the match. Hakim Belloumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ramon Hargrove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of South Weber AFC booed when PURDUE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Villegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Hargrove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakim Belloumi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Hargrove didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elliott McCoy went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ramon Hargrove stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Todd Chen's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After the first half South Weber AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurice Felton to strike the kick off in the second half. Stevie Thomas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramon Hargrove came out and tried to block the shot, but Stevie Thomas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Maurice Felton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ollie Esposito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Stevie Thomas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramon Hargrove, 1-5. If Hakim Belloumi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ollie Esposito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Ollie Esposito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caleb West in the 78th minute of play. Ollie Esposito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duncan Villegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ramon Hargrove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Chen in the 85th minute of the match.
