The supporters of Parma booed when La Joya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Art Yeager didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Enzo Gourlay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parma's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Gourlay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ethan Healy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Parma's goal looked a bit too open when Devin Coley came free, but Douglas Orlinsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Rhett Kenny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Joya the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Parma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhett Kenny to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Lu Guang Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devin Coley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Orlinsky read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Parma's Douglas Orlinsky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Parma from getting a goal against them. Stanislav Smrtič lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Parma made a substitution. Shaun Ambriz replaced Micah Uribe. 46 minutes into the game, one of Parma:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Douglas Orlinsky had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Bo Saunders's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Devin Coley made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Guang Zhen in the 54th minute of play forced La Joya's goalkeeper Ethan Healy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Enzo Gourlay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ethan Healy. La Joya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enzo Gourlay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 60th minute, Amado Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bo Saunders didn't quite understand what happened when in the 62 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 63rd match minute, Parma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector McCarthy to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Del Hays's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Douglas Orlinsky was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devin Coley in the 93rd minute of play forced Parma's goalkeeper Douglas Orlinsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Orlinsky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devin Coley, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. If Enzo Gourlay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
