When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Garrett Kendrick made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Frankie Gabriel put in a rough tackle. 55 minutes into the game, one of South Weber AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Barcelona Sporting Club. Tory Chaney stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ollie Esposito. 0-3. Lenny Johnson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ollie Esposito made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Aaron got free with Ollie Esposito in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Stevie Thomas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexis Berger was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 87th minute Garrett Kendrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ollie Esposito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Fabian Aaron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcelona Sporting Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stevie Thomas couldn't finish the play.
