Jermaine Cervantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Benedict in the 3rd minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Rosemont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eli Elder came free, but Jermaine Cervantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jermaine Cervantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eli Elder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Kraft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Healy having to interfere. Kent Snow kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Austin Benedict ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jermaine Cervantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Ali Kraft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jermaine Cervantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austin Benedict, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Kraft in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ethan Healy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jermaine Cervantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Austin Benedict's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When Rosemont FC's Ali Kraft in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Joya's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Joya's zone, Ali Kraft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Healy came out of the goal and Ali Kraft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosemont FC's Jermaine Cervantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Benedict in the 40th minute of play. Mitch Vasquez hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. La Joya's Ethan Healy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save La Joya from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the game, La Joya's Eli Elder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jermaine Cervantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Austin Benedict to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Kraft in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ethan Healy saved La Joya from getting behind. Devin Coley in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jermaine Cervantes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Rosemont FC's Ali Kraft got a free kick in the 64th minute. Ethan Healy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kraft in the 67th minute of play. If Kent Snow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zane Nixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ethan Healy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Joya had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
