La Joya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casey Whitfield was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Casey Whitfield put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ethan Healy. In the 35th minute, Casey Whitfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Washburn FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Eli Elder kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 46thth minute of the game Casey Whitfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Joya's Ethan Healy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eli Elder charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eli Elder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Joya's Eli Elder got a free kick in the 48th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Washburn FC's Scottie Reid broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Austin Benedict to strike the kick off in the second half. Mitch Vasquez's late challenge caught a Washburn FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mitch Vasquez helped the player get up and apologised. Mitch Vasquez kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Washburn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Hicks to maneuver through the defense. Eli Elder hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, La Joya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eli Elder to maneuver through the defense. Isaiah Grove stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Devin Coley's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Casey Whitfield hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, La Joya's goalkeeper Ethan Healy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casey Whitfield. Devin Coley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaiah Grove having to interfere. Mitch Vasquez was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Mitch Vasquez kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Casey Whitfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, La Joya's Austin Benedict got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Perry MacDonald hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Washburn FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
