Spectators: 7692 (Terracing: 5692, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stevie Thomas started the match with the kick off. Eli Elder hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. South Weber AFC's Hakim Belloumi got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Stevie Thomas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ethan Healy. Stevie Thomas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ollie Esposito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitch Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Todd Chen charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Todd Chen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, South Weber AFC's Todd Chen got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ollie Esposito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Benedict in the 16th minute of play. La Joya's Ethan Healy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save La Joya from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 19 in the game by Hakim Belloumi from a close distance when the talented Ethan Healy managed to make a qualified save. La Joya's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Austin Benedict in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ollie Esposito saved South Weber AFC from getting behind. Ollie Esposito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitch Vasquez in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes La Joya got a freekick which was hit by Eli Elder. Eli Elder's late challenge caught a South Weber AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eli Elder helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Joya's Eli Elder got a free kick in the 31st minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Hakim Belloumi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Weber AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hakim Belloumi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ollie Esposito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eli Elder in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Austin Benedict shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ollie Esposito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ollie Esposito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Austin Benedict went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. La Joya's Ethan Healy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stevie Thomas in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, La Joya's Ethan Healy got control of the ball when Hakim Belloumi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hakim Belloumi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Healy having to interfere. South Weber AFC's Hakim Belloumi suffered a concussion after 47 minutes and had to leave the field. When Bo Saunders fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Joya's protests and gave Bo Saunders a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Joya getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Bo Saunders hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Austin Benedict made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Joya! When Wilfred Vang came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the South Weber AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfred Vang couldn't finish the play. Todd Chen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Healy having to interfere. Stevie Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. South Weber AFC's Ollie Esposito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Benedict in the 65th minute of play. Ollie Esposito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitch Vasquez in the 66th minute of the match. Todd Chen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Healy having to interfere. Ollie Esposito made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Eli Elder sent off a good shot on target. Ollie Esposito was a little too slow when Devin Coley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-3. Frankie Gabriel hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Austin Benedict in the 87th minute of play forced South Weber AFC's goalkeeper Ollie Esposito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ollie Esposito made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Devin Coley sent off a good shot on target. Todd Chen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Joya's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
