Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bradly Raines took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Leif Morgan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Suruçspor's Ronnie Lawson got control of the ball when Vito Grace tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Rudy Stovall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronnie Lawson. Suruçspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rudy Stovall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ronnie Lawson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jake Haynes in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Rudy Stovall reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ronnie Lawson. The goal made the score 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Monmouth's Vito Grace nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronnie Lawson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Monmouth's Wiley Patten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronnie Lawson. That made the score 4-0 after 22 minutes of play. Monmouth's Vito Grace got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rudy Stovall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronnie Lawson came out and tried to block the shot, but Rudy Stovall slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 30th minute. Vito Grace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ronnie Lawson made a huge save. Ronnie Lawson was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Jake Haynes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jake Haynes really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Wiley Patten scored 7-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronnie Lawson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the game, Todd Neff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suruçspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monmouth the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Suruçspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todd Neff to maneuver through the defense. Suruçspor's Ronnie Lawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Stovall in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.
If Darrell Wilkerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronnie Lawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiley Patten in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Monmouth's Rudy Stovall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronnie Lawson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Lenny Hartley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Rowley in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Jake Haynes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronnie Lawson was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 72nd minute Rudy Stovall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Lawson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Haynes in the 73rd minute of play forced Suruçspor's goalkeeper Ronnie Lawson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Todd Neff kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ronnie Lawson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jake Haynes, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The corner led Monmouth's Bronson Trevino to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronnie Lawson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Suruçspor's Stephan Rowley got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goalkeeper Lenny Hartley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bradly Raines. Monmouth's Lenny Hartley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Monmouth from getting a goal against them.
