In the 16th minute Dante Cho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dustin Hemphill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dustin Hemphill, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Dalton Gabriel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Int de Fútbol Miami's Roy Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Cho scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roy Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vernon McBride made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blair Trimble in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deon Westbrook got free with Roy Souza in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Cho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Souza having to interfere. With a little luck, Club Int de Fútbol Miami's Roy Souza got control of the ball when Dalton Gabriel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Dante Cho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roy Souza, 0-5. Ivan Franco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vernon McBride having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dustin Hemphill in the 83rd minute of play forced Club Int de Fútbol Miami's goalkeeper Roy Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Cho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roy Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Club Int de Fútbol Miami got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Franco.
