Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Cole took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kermit Fujieda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miles Connell in the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, San Francisco 49ers's Kermit Fujieda got control of the ball when Yong Babcock tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Yong Babcock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Bern FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yong Babcock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Sorenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Pope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Donnie Wang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Sorenson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Cole in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Pedro Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Sorenson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yong Babcock in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kermit Fujieda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Pope in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Sorenson saved New Bern FC from getting behind. Carlos Sorenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Pope in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pedro Cole's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Sorenson was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Felix Pope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Carlos Sorenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yong Babcock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ali Leonard came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the New Bern FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Leonard couldn't finish the play. Carlos Sorenson made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Felix Pope sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to New Bern FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nicholas Doud hit a great ball. If Pedro Cole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Pedro Cole cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Carlos Sorenson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kermit Fujieda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miles Connell, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 1-3 became the score in the 69th minute when Pedro Cole elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Josiah Gonzalez could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Carlos Sorenson however easily saved by the left post. Kermit Fujieda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Leonard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Yong Babcock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kermit Fujieda. San Francisco 49ers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yong Babcock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Nicholas Doud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, New Bern FC's goalkeeper Carlos Sorenson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Pope. Felix Pope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
