Spectators: 7020 (Terracing: 6010, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raphael Dudley got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Christian in the 8th minute of play forced Roanoke FC's goalkeeper Mickey Pham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lane Womack succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. In the 14th minute, Parker Armstrong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Goins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Poplar Tent fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Poplar Tent's Reynaldo Lin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Christian during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Poplar Tent got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Christian. In the 26th minute, Woody Woodall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Lane Womack managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roanoke FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lane Womack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Sweet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raphael Dudley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pablo Sweet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Lane Womack had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Sweet. Poplar Tent's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lane Womack was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 45 minutes into the match, Poplar Tent's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Dudley came free, but Pablo Sweet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes, Russ Dobbins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poplar Tent and the Roanoke FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Russ Dobbins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Salvador Goins made the kick off in the second half. Raphael Dudley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roanoke FC's Mickey Pham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russ Dobbins in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Roanoke FC's Raphael Dudley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Sweet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Roanoke FC's goalkeeper Mickey Pham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Lin. Raphael Dudley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Roanoke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Christian came free, but Mickey Pham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mickey Pham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Woody Woodall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mickey Pham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Christian in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Roanoke FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Dudley to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Sweet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lane Womack, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Roanoke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Lin came free, but Mickey Pham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Lin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mickey Pham came out and tried to block the shot, but Reynaldo Lin slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 94th minute.
