Monty Pepper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Monty Pepper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wyatt Arroyo in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Ronny Cummins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolland Sherman. Boca Raton F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronny Cummins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Rolland Sherman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Fair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monty Pepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loren Leslie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. INTER MIAMI's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Loren Leslie 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Rolland Sherman came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by INTER MIAMI's Ronny Cummins. But to his dismay, Ronny Cummins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loren Leslie in the 42nd minute of play. Rolland Sherman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Fair in the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronny Cummins was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Boca Raton F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alejandro Jensen hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Markus Lawler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Monty Pepper. INTER MIAMI were furious when Alvin Fields was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Monty Pepper showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robby Fairchild kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Markus Lawler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Monty Pepper was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. After having played for 90 minutes, Vernon Jarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER MIAMI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vernon Jarrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monty Pepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Lawler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Wyatt Arroyo made a precise shot to the right of Monty Pepper. INTER MIAMI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Boca Raton F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from INTER MIAMI for much of the match.
