With a little luck, San Francisco 49ers's Kermit Fujieda got control of the ball when A.J. Schulz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Cornett during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of bulldogs fc booed when San Francisco 49ers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Cornett didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Thurman Todd in the 42nd minute of play was well struck, but Kermit Fujieda made a really good save at the right post. In the 47th minute, Matt Anderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.J. Schulz in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kermit Fujieda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The bulldogs fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Francisco 49ers were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Cole stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Terrence Murry made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Felix Pope sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to San Francisco 49ers getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, bulldogs fc's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Cole came free, but Terrence Murry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Matt Anderson in the 64th minute really tested Terrence Murry's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When San Francisco 49ers's Pedro Cole in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
