Seven Oaks were furious when Jaime Vang was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When Paxtonia AFC's Tyrese Bragg, in the 23rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Paxtonia AFC. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Seven Oaks's goalkeeper Leo Ragsdale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Paxtonia AFC's Tyrese Bragg fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Wendell Farley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Ragsdale having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Paxtonia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kerry Uhl. Joey McKinney kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Tyler Urmanski made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Bradley Flynn sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrese Bragg in the 48th minute of play forced Seven Oaks's goalkeeper Leo Ragsdale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tyrese Bragg to make the kick off. If Glen Black had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Ragsdale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyrese Bragg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Paxtonia AFC's Kerry Uhl got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Paxtonia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Flynn came free, but Tyler Urmanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Seven Oaks's Stephen Mathews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tyler Urmanski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leo Ragsdale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrese Bragg in the 71st minute of play. Leo Ragsdale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wendell Farley in the 79th minute. In the 88th minute Tyrese Bragg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Ragsdale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Paxtonia AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
