The supporters of Bob FC booed when Boys of Riverdrive FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenic Numbers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bob FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tod Helms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rob Neal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tod Helms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Morton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rob Neal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tod Helms got free with Rob Neal in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tod Helms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rob Neal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Boys of Riverdrive FC's Rob Neal got control of the ball when Dalton Kirkpatrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tod Helms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Arturo Beltre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rob Neal. That made the score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cliff Jenkins during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Boys of Riverdrive FC's Rob Neal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Beltre in the 77th minute of play. Tod Helms's late challenge caught a Boys of Riverdrive FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tod Helms helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bob FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Tod Helms hit a great ball. Arturo Beltre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rob Neal having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Bob FC's Santos Morton got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Dalton Kirkpatrick made a precise shot to the right of Rob Neal. Boys of Riverdrive FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.
