The audience was convinced that Stephan Spears's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Everett was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Pedro Schmidt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Goodman went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Pedro Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Barlow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Arbutus FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Barlow. Thad Hickman hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
