Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leon Fernandez got the match started through his kick off. Donalsonville's Evan Mullins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Barbour in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Donalsonville getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Evan Burks hit a great ball. After 10 minutes, Roger Barbour made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Donalsonville's Evan Mullins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, São Paulo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leon Fernandez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Wilmer Poole notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Donalsonville's Evan Mullins. Evan Mullins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 played minutes Donalsonville got a freekick which was hit by Andy Doss. 29 minutes into the game, São Paulo FC's Wilmer Poole nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evan Mullins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Leon Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Karl Lugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilmer Poole made a kick off. Leon Fernandez's late challenge caught a São Paulo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Donalsonville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. After 56 minutes São Paulo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Shawn Keene who took care of the corner kick. 58 minutes into the match, Donalsonville's goalkeeper Evan Mullins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Barbour. After 60 played minutes São Paulo FC got a freekick which was hit by Terrence Parrish. When Leon Fernandez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Donalsonville's Leon Fernandez got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Wilmer Poole who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Donalsonville's Evan Mullins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evan Mullins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilmer Poole, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Wilmer Poole put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Evan Mullins. Roger Barbour kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Roger Barbour who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Evan Mullins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. São Paulo FC's Ace Coffman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Evan Mullins in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 88 played minutes Donalsonville got a freekick which was hit by Andy Doss. Wilmer Poole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Evan Mullins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The São Paulo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing São Paulo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
