When Ace Coffman came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the São Paulo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ace Coffman couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paxtonia AFC's goalkeeper Tyler Urmanski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ace Coffman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyrese Bragg's late challenge caught a São Paulo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tyrese Bragg helped the player get up and apologised. When São Paulo FC's Wilmer Poole in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 26 minutes of play, São Paulo FC's Wilmer Poole made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tyler Urmanski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roger Barbour struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Tyler Urmanski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo FC. After a rather tough play, São Paulo FC's Clay Gann got a free kick in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilmer Poole in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tyler Urmanski saved Paxtonia AFC from getting behind. Ace Coffman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Barbour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyler Urmanski having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilmer Poole in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyler Urmanski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilmer Poole stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Paxtonia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wendell Farley. In the 55th minute, Joey McKinney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, São Paulo FC's Karl Lugo got control of the ball when Wendell Farley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilmer Poole took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tyler Urmanski. Tyler Urmanski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ace Coffman hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, São Paulo FC's goalkeeper Karl Lugo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wendell Farley. Terrence Parrish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Barbour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tyler Urmanski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilmer Poole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyler Urmanski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Terrence Parrish's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Roger Barbour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tyler Urmanski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roger Barbour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the São Paulo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
