Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alvin Walsh got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Arbutus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Barlow to maneuver through the defense. Domenic Numbers kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Rob Neal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Goodman went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Juan Goodman scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rob Neal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Goodman got free with Rob Neal in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Everett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Walsh, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to Arbutus FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Clint Ham hit a great ball. Melvin Acuna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boys of Riverdrive FC's Alvin Walsh got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Juan Goodman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Neal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Boys of Riverdrive FC got a freekick which was hit by Vito Gaines. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Barlow in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rob Neal saved Boys of Riverdrive FC from getting behind. When Juan Goodman came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Arbutus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Goodman couldn't finish the play. In the 44th match minute, Arbutus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frankie Sherrill to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Goodman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rob Neal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Goodman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Boys of Riverdrive FC's Domenic Numbers got a free kick in the 54th minute. Rob Neal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Dale's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Domenic Numbers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boys of Riverdrive FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arbutus FC the free kick. Domenic Numbers kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Arbutus FC's Juan Goodman made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rob Neal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Barlow blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rob Neal having to make a save. When Arbutus FC's Diego Barlow in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boys of Riverdrive FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rob Neal came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arbutus FC's Juan Goodman. But to his dismay, Juan Goodman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Arbutus FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
