In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boys of Riverdrive FC's goalkeeper Jonah Lucas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Art Abrams sped through Boys of Riverdrive FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonah Lucas. Bradley Flynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonah Lucas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bradley Flynn's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Vito Gaines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boys of Riverdrive FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Gaines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Sherman during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Seven Oaks's Ryan Sherman got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jonah Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Art Abrams, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Art Abrams had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonah Lucas. Boys of Riverdrive FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Art Abrams was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, Bradley Flynn notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Boys of Riverdrive FC's Jonah Lucas. Jonah Lucas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Art Abrams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vito Gaines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Domenic Numbers kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Isidro Eaton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonah Lucas. Boys of Riverdrive FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Boys of Riverdrive FC's Vito Gaines sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Ragsdale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Stevie Clifton notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Seven Oaks's Leo Ragsdale. Leo Ragsdale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonah Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Sherman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonah Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Sherman in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bradley Flynn got free with Jonah Lucas in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Art Abrams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Art Abrams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Seven Oaks could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boys of Riverdrive FC throughout the match.
