The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Kraken AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olin Izturis should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Roger Barbour made a precise shot to the right of Olin Izturis. Kraken AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 16thth minute of the game Wilmer Poole who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kraken AFC's Olin Izturis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ace Coffman took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olin Izturis. Olin Izturis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Olin Izturis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-10. 97 minutes into the match, Kraken AFC's Garry Bouchard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl Lugo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. São Paulo FC played a much better game than Kraken AFC and deserved their victory. The Kraken AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
