Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gregory Short started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Energy FC's Woodrow Patrick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Energy FC from getting a goal against them. Gregory Short hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Russ Whitney kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Quintin Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Fernandez in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Woodrow Patrick saved Energy FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Donalsonville's Quintin Alvarado got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Evan Mullins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregory Short's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David McKinnon in the 36th minute of play forced Donalsonville's goalkeeper Evan Mullins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Energy FC booed when Donalsonville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Doss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Woodrow Patrick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Evan Mullins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Steele, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Jesus Arellano's late challenge caught a Donalsonville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Arellano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Energy FC's Jesus Arellano got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Fernandez to make the kick off. Evan Mullins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Short in the 61st minute of play. If Leon Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Energy FC's zone, Leon Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Woodrow Patrick came out of the goal and Leon Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Leon Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Energy FC's Woodrow Patrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Denis Stearns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Stearns's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Evan Mullins skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Evan Mullins made an important save on a dangerous shot by David McKinnon in the 77th minute. In the 83rd minute, Leon Fernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Woodrow Patrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Leon Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Woodrow Patrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donalsonville. Evan Mullins made an important save on a dangerous shot by David McKinnon in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Quintin Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 95 minutes, David McKinnon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Energy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David McKinnon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Donalsonville players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
