Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paxtonia AFC's Tyrese Bragg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Energy FC's David McKinnon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tyler Urmanski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Energy FC's Woodrow Patrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrese Bragg in the 9th minute of play. Wendell Farley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Woodrow Patrick having to make a save. If Tyrese Bragg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David McKinnon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tyler Urmanski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tyler Urmanski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Short in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Energy FC's Gregory Short ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tyler Urmanski. Tyler Urmanski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Tyrese Bragg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyler Urmanski came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Energy FC's Gregory Short. But to his dismay, Gregory Short quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 36th minute, David McKinnon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Paxtonia AFC booed when Energy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donovan Montano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Energy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kerry Uhl came free, but Woodrow Patrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeramy Ferreira hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes, Denis Stearns mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Energy FC and the Paxtonia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregory Short made a kick off. Tyler Urmanski came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Energy FC's David McKinnon. But to his dismay, David McKinnon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Wendell Farley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Woodrow Patrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregory Short struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Tyler Urmanski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Energy FC. In the 66th minute, Gregory Short made a precise shot to the right of Tyler Urmanski. Paxtonia AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. David McKinnon struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tyler Urmanski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Energy FC. 76 minutes into the match, Energy FC's goalkeeper Woodrow Patrick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrese Bragg. If David McKinnon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute David McKinnon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyler Urmanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Tyrese Bragg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Woodrow Patrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregory Short's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyler Urmanski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Tyler Urmanski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Mathews in the 94th minute of the match. If David McKinnon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
