Spectators: 7962 (Terracing: 5973, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Logan Alvaro started the match with the kick off. Kraken AFC's Olin Izturis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Short in the 9th minute of play. Carson Hopkins kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Sanford Carroll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carson Hopkins hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Dario Steele took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olin Izturis. Olin Izturis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Olin Izturis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David McKinnon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Gregory Short made a precise shot to the right of Olin Izturis. Kraken AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 32 played minutes Energy FC got a freekick which was hit by David McKinnon. Olin Izturis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David McKinnon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Graham Pettit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gregory Short managed to get in a good position for a shot. Energy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Short was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olin Izturis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregory Short stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garry Bouchard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as David McKinnon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olin Izturis. That made the score 0-4 in the 55 minute of play. Woodrow Patrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristopher Savage, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Woodrow Patrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Logan Alvaro in the 75th minute of play. David McKinnon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Olin Izturis made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garry Bouchard in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Woodrow Patrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kraken AFC's Olin Izturis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Short in the 87th minute of play. Woodrow Patrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Logan Alvaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Logan Alvaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Woodrow Patrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Logan Alvaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Woodrow Patrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Logan Alvaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Energy FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
