Luciano Grant started the match with the kick off. Ronny Ervin kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyle Irvin in the 4th minute of play forced FC West Palm Beach's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbur Cormier having to interfere. Claudinho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Grant in the 7th minute of the match. Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Grant, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Lyle Irvin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The South Beach FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With an all-out effort, FC West Palm Beach's Wilbur Cormier threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pablo Mooney, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilbur Cormier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Mooney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilbur Cormier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Kellbom in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Paul Noel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilbur Cormier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Noel got free with Wilbur Cormier in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Taffarel came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by South Beach FC's Lyle Irvin. But to his dismay, Lyle Irvin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. FC West Palm Beach's Claudinho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Grant in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, South Beach FC's Wilbur Cormier got control of the ball when Paul Noel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Paul Noel took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Wilbur Cormier to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Kellbom in the 36th minute of play forced South Beach FC's goalkeeper Wilbur Cormier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Wilbur Cormier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wilbur Cormier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Noel in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute of the game Gary Pierre made a throw-in which Lyle Irvin played forward. After some careless play in the South Beach FC defense, Paul Noel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilbur Cormier. The South Beach FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilbur Cormier should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute Paul Noel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilbur Cormier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilbur Cormier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Noel in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Jonah Anderson took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilbur Cormier. Wilbur Cormier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. 60 minutes into the match, South Beach FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Noel came free, but Wilbur Cormier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darren Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Wilbur Cormier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that FC West Palm Beach were the better team. FC West Palm Beach's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
