Donald May took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Malloy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Malloy in the 16th minute of play forced Stoughton's goalkeeper Donald May to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Stoughton's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Malloy came free, but Donald May reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Blasdell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darius Morgan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Domenic Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Malcolm Li tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stoughton's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
