Mel Masters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Malloy in the 18th minute of play. If Laurence Payton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Curt Betts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mickey Cohen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blasdell the free kick. A collision led to Mickey Cohen FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Curt Betts hit a great ball. The supporters of Blasdell booed when Mickey Cohen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Diggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Mickey Cohen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Malloy came free, but Mel Masters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mel Masters made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Laurence Payton sent off a good shot on target. If Laurence Payton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mel Masters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Malloy in the 41st minute of play. Malcolm Li took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chance Canales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Emanuel Malloy made the kick off in the second half. In the 59thth minute of the game Emanuel Malloy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mickey Cohen FC's Mel Masters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mickey Cohen FC's Chance Canales got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mickey Cohen FC's Claude Simon got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Chance Canales kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Blasdell got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Ramirez. Emanuel Malloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mickey Cohen FC's Sander Minnen got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Chance Canales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Malcolm Li was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Blasdell defense, Chance Canales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Malcolm Li. The Blasdell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Malcolm Li should have stopped the shot. Mel Masters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurence Payton, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Claude Simon kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
