Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abe Bellamy kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Slower Lower FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Henderson to maneuver through the defense. Rubin Mosher took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antonello Doris. Slower Lower FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Doug Geiger kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Alden defense, Seth Yeats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quinton Sewell. The Alden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quinton Sewell should have stopped the shot. Abe Bellamy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Del Carrington made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 22ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Antonello Doris would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abe Bellamy in the 26th minute of play forced Slower Lower FC's goalkeeper Antonello Doris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Seth Yeats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Doris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Del Carrington in the 29th minute. Abe Bellamy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Antonello Doris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonello Doris was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Carlos Dobbs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Dobbs really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 44th minute, Del Carrington made a precise shot to the right of Antonello Doris. Slower Lower FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Del Carrington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Antonello Doris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Antonello Doris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abe Bellamy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 played minutes Slower Lower FC got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Numbers. Antonello Doris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Del Carrington's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. If Del Carrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antonello Doris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abe Bellamy in the 74th minute of play. Abe Bellamy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seth Yeats hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Abe Bellamy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Doris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abe Bellamy, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Del Carrington came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Alden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Del Carrington couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the game, Jerrod Ransom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slower Lower FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alden the free kick. In the 88th minute, Jerrod Ransom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonello Doris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abe Bellamy in the 92nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seth Yeats during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Slower Lower FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Seth Yeats hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alden fully deserved thier win.
