Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jack Peters started the match with the kick off. Slaton's Daryl Rivers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Peters in the 4th minute of play. Milton Hand kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Slaton defense, Jack Peters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daryl Rivers. The Slaton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daryl Rivers should have stopped the shot. After 17 minutes, Jack Peters mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paddock Lake FC and the Slaton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Paddock Lake FC got a freekick which was hit by Jack Peters. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Calvert in the 19th minute of play forced Slaton's goalkeeper Daryl Rivers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daryl Rivers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jack Peters went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Daryl Rivers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andre Madison's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Jack Peters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daryl Rivers. Slaton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack Peters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some careless play in the Slaton defense, Jack Peters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daryl Rivers. The Slaton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daryl Rivers should have stopped the shot. Slaton's Daryl Rivers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Madison in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Madison in the 41st minute of play forced Slaton's goalkeeper Daryl Rivers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Paddock Lake FC booed when Slaton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Beal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daryl Rivers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Peters, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
Daryl Rivers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Peters in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Beal in the 53rd minute of play forced Paddock Lake FC's goalkeeper Calvin Parham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Slaton! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Peters in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daryl Rivers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calvin Parham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milton Hand in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milton Hand in the 64th minute of play forced Paddock Lake FC's goalkeeper Calvin Parham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Peters in the 67th minute of play forced Slaton's goalkeeper Daryl Rivers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Lionel Calvert took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Daryl Rivers to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milton Hand during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Milton Hand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slaton's Daryl Rivers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Peters in the 82nd minute of play. Lionel Calvert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Daryl Rivers made a huge save. Jack Peters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Daryl Rivers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre Madison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Daryl Rivers made a huge save. In the 98th minute, Andre Madison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paddock Lake FC played a much better game than Slaton and deserved their victory. The Slaton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
