Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Hillsborough's Sebastian Pennington got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Sebastian Pennington took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliver Davies. Oliver Davies dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With 9 minutes on the clock, Homer Benjamin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hillsborough fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Grenada. Wilfred Coles stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Donald Kennedy. 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, Hillsborough's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Kaiser came free, but Donald Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donald Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Madden, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jack Costello struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Oliver Davies didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hillsborough. Donald Kennedy came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Grenada's Reynaldo Madden. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Madden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 25 played minutes, Grenada's Jerry Pritchard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donald Kennedy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grenada reached it. After 26 played minutes Hillsborough got a freekick which was hit by Jack Cabourne. Jack Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rdth minute of the game Pete Kaiser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hillsborough's Donald Kennedy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donald Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chance Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Madden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donald Kennedy. Hillsborough's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Madden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 38th match minute, Grenada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Jacobson to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Pennington took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oliver Davies. Grenada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Grenada's Oliver Davies got control of the ball when Jack Costello tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Grenada's goalkeeper Oliver Davies had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Costello. 48 minutes into the match, Hillsborough's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Madden came free, but Donald Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Madden made a kick off. Donald Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Madden in the 54th minute of the match. Jimmy Yeats might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Davies. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimmy Yeats ran back to his position shaking his head. Hillsborough's Jack Costello got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerry Pritchard hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hillsborough booed when Grenada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Pate didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Sebastian Pennington sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Grenada's Oliver Davies didn't even have to move. 64 minutes into the game, Jack Costello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Oliver Davies was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the match, Hillsborough's goalkeeper Donald Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pete Kaiser. Sebastian Pennington kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pete Kaiser got free with Donald Kennedy in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Jack Costello notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Grenada's Oliver Davies. Oliver Davies was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grenada's Oliver Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Yeats in the 82nd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Hillsborough's goalkeeper Donald Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pete Kaiser. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Madden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donald Kennedy was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Grenada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Grenada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
