When Timmy Shapiro fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mickey Cohen FC's protests and gave Timmy Shapiro a yellow card for diving instead. Thurman Kidd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Mickey Cohen FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Travis Thurston hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Emmitt Edmonds sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mel Masters skillfully saved the ball. Mel Masters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Good, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Elias Good's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mel Masters was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Elias Good sped through Mickey Cohen FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mel Masters. A collision led to Miami Vice getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Elias Good hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Dallas Kearney sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Gee skillfully saved the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Miami Vice's goal looked a bit too open when Chance Canales came free, but Jonathan Gee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Miami Vice getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Elias Good hit a great ball. Timmy Shapiro struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jonathan Gee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mickey Cohen FC. If Timmy Shapiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mickey Cohen FC's Mel Masters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Good in the 29th minute of play. Elias Good sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Travis Thurston during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mickey Cohen FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Travis Thurston hit a great ball. Mel Masters was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Thurman Segura. Jonathan Gee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chance Canales, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Rashad Marrero hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Good made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Good in the 55th minute of play forced Mickey Cohen FC's goalkeeper Mel Masters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mickey Cohen FC's Mel Masters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Good in the 61st minute of play. When Rashad Marrero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. Thurman Kidd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mel Masters having to make a save. Thurman Kidd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mel Masters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Thurman Kidd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Thurman Kidd notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Mickey Cohen FC's Mel Masters. Mel Masters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elias Good blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mel Masters having to make a save. After 84 minutes, Curt Betts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mickey Cohen FC and the Miami Vice players grew even worse after the yellow card. Curt Betts kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Mickey Cohen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Travis Thurston to maneuver through the defense. Mickey Cohen FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
