When Darius Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paddock Lake FC's protests and gave Darius Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Warrior Boys booed when Paddock Lake FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vânderson Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Vânderson Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calvin Parham was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Darius Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Paddock Lake FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Souza came free, but Calvin Parham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. J.P. Dow's late challenge caught a Paddock Lake FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. J.P. Dow helped the player get up and apologised. J.P. Dow kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Paddock Lake FC's Calvin Parham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weston Crowder in the 42nd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vânderson Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. Paddock Lake FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Leland Drummond scored to the left of an out of position Calvin Parham, making the score, 0-5. Walter Henley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Calvert in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Weston Crowder in the 60th minute of play forced Paddock Lake FC's goalkeeper Calvin Parham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Warrior Boys's zone, Lionel Calvert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Henley came out of the goal and Lionel Calvert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, Warrior Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Vickers to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, Vânderson Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warrior Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paddock Lake FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Warrior Boys's Vânderson Souza got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Paddock Lake FC got a freekick which was hit by Rick Bouchard. After a defensive mix-up in Warrior Boys's zone, Lionel Calvert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Henley came out of the goal and Lionel Calvert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Andre Madison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paddock Lake FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Madison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Henley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st play minute Vânderson Souza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Calvin Parham. 0-6. In the 89th minute Leland Drummond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Parham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Paddock Lake FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Souza came free, but Calvin Parham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Warrior Boys left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paddock Lake FC.
