When Milton Hand fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slaton's protests and gave Milton Hand a yellow card for diving instead. Milton Hand hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Leland Drummond hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Todd Barrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the game, Felipe Pollard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Walter Henley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daryl Rivers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Barrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Todd Barrett made a precise shot to the right of Daryl Rivers. Slaton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Vânderson Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warrior Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vânderson Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Todd Barrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Henley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Pollard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Slaton's Bernardo Beal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Henley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 31 played minutes Slaton got a freekick which was hit by Milton Hand. 35 minutes into the match, Felipe Pollard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Henley. Warrior Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Pollard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Warrior Boys's Walter Henley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Pollard in the 45th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Warrior Boys's Vânderson Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daryl Rivers. That made the score 3-3 after 47 minutes of play.

After a defensive mix-up in Slaton's zone, Vânderson Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daryl Rivers came out of the goal and Vânderson Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Warrior Boys made a substitution. Perry Reeder replaced Val Coleman. Todd Bennett hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Carlos Boyle lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Todd Barrett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daryl Rivers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vânderson Souza in the 72nd minute of play. Milton Hand hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-4 when Vânderson Souza sped through Slaton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daryl Rivers. After a rather tough play, Warrior Boys's Yang Liang Chao got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85th match minute, Warrior Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leland Drummond to maneuver through the defense. Walter Henley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Pollard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-5 in the 88 minute of play. If Vânderson Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daryl Rivers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vânderson Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
