In the 2nd match minute, Stoughton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Altman to maneuver through the defense. Darius Morgan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes Stoughton's Dwight Dotson stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Geoff Donnelly stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Los Angeles Rams of the goal. Bennett Ledbetter hit a great ball. Geoff Donnelly stood somewhat misplaced when Sherwood Pujols came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Dwight Dotson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoughton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dwight Dotson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sherwood Welsh hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Geoff Donnelly was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Andre Dickson. Geoff Donnelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherwood Pujols, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, one of Los Angeles Rams:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 37th minute of the game, Stoughton got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Dwight Dotson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoff Donnelly having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Stoughton's Geoff Donnelly threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sherwood Pujols, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Geoff Donnelly managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Stoughton's Dwight Dotson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Geoff Donnelly acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 49th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Darius Morgan. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Artaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Geoff Donnelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sherwood Pujols in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Los Angeles Rams booed when Stoughton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Altman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geoff Donnelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherwood Pujols, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geoff Donnelly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dwight Dotson went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Geoff Donnelly came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Stoughton's Sherwood Pujols. But to his dismay, Sherwood Pujols quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 71st match minute, Los Angeles Rams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wayne Hemphill to maneuver through the defense. Los Angeles Rams's Geoff Donnelly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sherwood Pujols in the 73rd minute of play. Geoff Donnelly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sherwood Pujols's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 77 played minutes Stoughton got a freekick which was hit by Sherwood Welsh. A collision led to Stoughton getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Darius Morgan hit a great ball. Sherwood Pujols took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geoff Donnelly. Geoff Donnelly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The Stoughton fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Stoughton's Dwight Dotson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stoughton's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
