Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Santo Corbin got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Warrior Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yang Liang Chao to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thurman Kidd during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Todd Barrett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warrior Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Todd Barrett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Gee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Miami Vice booed when Warrior Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yang Liang Chao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yang Liang Chao was shown his second yellow card after 17 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 18th match minute, Warrior Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yang Liang Chao to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Vânderson Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Gee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Vânderson Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Miami Vice getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ronald Koeman hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Miami Vice's goalkeeper Jonathan Gee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vânderson Souza. Emmitt Edmonds's late challenge caught a Warrior Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emmitt Edmonds helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Miami Vice got a freekick which was hit by Emmitt Edmonds. In the 31st minute, Carlos Boyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Miami Vice's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Souza came free, but Jonathan Gee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miami Vice's Thurman Kidd got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Ed McMahon in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Miami Vice's Nelson Moody. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vânderson Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Warrior Boys got a freekick which was hit by Weston Crowder. Todd Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jonathan Gee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Guy's late challenge caught a Miami Vice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Guy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Warrior Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Guy to maneuver through the defense. Warrior Boys's Perry Reeder was substituted for Val Coleman. Edgardo Guy kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Warrior Boys's zone, Nelson Moody stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Henley came out of the goal and Nelson Moody tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Warrior Boys's Weston Crowder, in the 61st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Warrior Boys. Weston Crowder hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Walter Henley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thurman Kidd in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute, Warrior Boys's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Thurman Kidd fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Miami Vice's Nelson Moody got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thurman Kidd in the 78th minute of play forced Warrior Boys's goalkeeper Walter Henley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Gee came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Warrior Boys's Todd Barrett. But to his dismay, Todd Barrett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 91 minutes, Brad Chandler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miami Vice and the Warrior Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Santo Corbin fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miami Vice's protests and gave Santo Corbin a yellow card for diving instead. Warrior Boys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
