Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sherwood Pujols kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Real Galaxy booed when Alden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy Smiley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Dwight Dotson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Galaxy's supporters rose to their feet, but Dwight Dotson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quinton Sewell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Galaxy's goalkeeper Donald May, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Del Carrington in the 10th minute of play forced Real Galaxy's goalkeeper Donald May to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Sherwood Welsh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Galaxy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alden the free kick. Sherwood Welsh hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes of play, Alden's Abe Bellamy made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donald May was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quinton Sewell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sherwood Pujols's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Quinton Sewell acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Andre Dickson. 29 minutes into the game, Quentin Belanger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Galaxy the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Alden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Belanger to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sherwood Pujols in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinton Sewell saved Alden from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Alden's goal looked a bit too open when Dwight Dotson came free, but Quinton Sewell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Dobbs during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Alden got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Dobbs. In the 38th minute, Jefferson Cortez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donald May took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abe Bellamy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dwight Dotson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

A collision led to Real Galaxy getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Sherwood Pujols hit a great ball. The supporters of Real Galaxy booed when Alden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grady Cotton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Real Galaxy's Andre Dickson tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Quinton Sewell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sherwood Pujols, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Alden:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Galaxy:s goal. The referee gave Real Galaxy a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andre Dickson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alden's Quinton Sewell. 2-1. Quinton Sewell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherwood Pujols, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The supporters of Alden booed when Real Galaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenic Ruiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quinton Sewell came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Galaxy's Sherwood Pujols. But to his dismay, Sherwood Pujols quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 86thth minute of the game Dwight Dotson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alden's Quinton Sewell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dwight Dotson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quinton Sewell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sherwood Pujols in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Domenic Ruiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quinton Sewell. Alden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domenic Ruiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. When Troy Smiley fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alden's protests and gave Troy Smiley a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Alden:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Galaxy:s goal.
