Reed Hadley's late challenge caught a Iberia United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reed Hadley helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Copenhagen FC got a freekick which was hit by Reed Hadley. Iberia United's Ali Cox pulled a muscle in his leg after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 18th minute of the match Reed Hadley completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Reed Hadley a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Wilkes in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chuck Matlock saved Copenhagen FC from getting behind. Martin Bond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chuck Matlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clinton Tobin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute.
