Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ali Jacobson kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Grayville's Quentin Clifford got control of the ball when Zackary Cunningham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tim McClelland kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Grayville's zone, Zackary Cunningham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quentin Clifford came out of the goal and Zackary Cunningham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carpinteria were furious when Javier Berger was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 8 minutes into the game, one of Carpinteria:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zackary Cunningham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Errol Morin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bennett Russ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carpinteria's Robin Koehler got a free kick in the 27th minute. Bennett Russ didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Errol Morin went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Carpinteria's Zackary Cunningham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quentin Clifford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grayville's Quentin Clifford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Grayville from getting a goal against them. If Zackary Cunningham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carpinteria's Bennett Russ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Jacobson in the 46th minute of play. Errol Morin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bennett Russ having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Zackary Cunningham made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Errol Morin got free with Bennett Russ in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bennett Russ was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Jacobson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. Neal Crane charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neal Crane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Grayville booed when Carpinteria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neal Crane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Jacobson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Grayville's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 78 played minutes Grayville got a freekick which was hit by Tim McClelland. In the 81st match minute, Carpinteria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Errol Morin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Grayville booed when Carpinteria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shelton Watts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Grayville's zone, Neal Crane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quentin Clifford came out of the goal and Neal Crane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zackary Cunningham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Quentin Clifford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Shelton Watts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quentin Clifford was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Grayville's goal looked a bit too open when Zackary Cunningham came free, but Quentin Clifford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Grayville had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
