Devin Higgins started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Zulfadli Soekarno made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carpinteria's Bennett Russ tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bennett Russ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zulfadli Soekarno in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Zulfadli Soekarno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpinteria's Bennett Russ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zulfadli Soekarno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bennett Russ stood somewhat misplaced when Zulfadli Soekarno came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. Carpinteria's Bennett Russ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Carpinteria from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Carpinteria's zone, Zulfadli Soekarno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennett Russ came out of the goal and Zulfadli Soekarno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carpinteria's Bennett Russ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Carpinteria from getting a goal against them. Zulfadli Soekarno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bennett Russ having to interfere. Zulfadli Soekarno in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bennett Russ, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Johnny Coats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rod Matson during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Rod Matson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Zulfadli Soekarno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bennett Russ was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. With a little luck, Carpinteria's Bennett Russ got control of the ball when Zulfadli Soekarno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermínio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devin Higgins in the 41st minute of play. Wictor Vinström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Bennett Russ managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Cyber EVO's Zulfadli Soekarno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zulfadli Soekarno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Zulfadli Soekarno notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Carpinteria's Bennett Russ. Bennett Russ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Johnny Coats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bennett Russ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neal Crane's late challenge caught a Cyber EVO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neal Crane helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Carpinteria got a freekick which was hit by Neal Crane. After 57 minutes of play Carpinteria's Neal Crane was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Neal Crane hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zulfadli Soekarno in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bennett Russ saved Carpinteria from getting behind. Zulfadli Soekarno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bennett Russ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Javier Berger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpinteria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cyber EVO the free kick. In the 65th minute of the match Tanner Blum shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bennett Russ showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carpinteria's zone, Zulfadli Soekarno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennett Russ came out of the goal and Zulfadli Soekarno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Warner Lockhart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zulfadli Soekarno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cyber EVO's Zulfadli Soekarno in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpinteria's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th minute of the match Cyber EVO got a corner. Carpinteria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tanner Blum ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tanner Blum almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carpinteria's Bennett Russ did a great save. Robin Koehler's late challenge caught a Cyber EVO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carpinteria! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Cyber EVO. Tanner Blum stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bennett Russ. 5-0. The supporters of Cyber EVO booed when Carpinteria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zackary Cunningham didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zulfadli Soekarno in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bennett Russ saved Carpinteria from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Bobby Beasley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cyber EVO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zulfadli Soekarno in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bennett Russ saved Carpinteria from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cyber EVO had played much better football throughout.
