Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Byron Samuel in the 4th minute of play forced Grayville's goalkeeper Quentin Clifford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike Shaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Quentin Clifford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grayville's Quentin Clifford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Shaw in the 12th minute of play. Byron Samuel struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Quentin Clifford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonne Terre. The supporters of Bonne Terre booed when Grayville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Hoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Byron Kilgore missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 19 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Quentin Clifford right hand side. When Byron Samuel came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Bonne Terre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Byron Samuel couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Byron Samuel in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quentin Clifford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Grayville's goal looked a bit too open when Cameron Hadley came free, but Quentin Clifford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quentin Clifford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Byron Samuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Byron Samuel struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Quentin Clifford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonne Terre. In the 30th minute Mike Shaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Clifford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quentin Clifford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cameron Hadley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jimmy Shockley fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grayville's protests and gave Jimmy Shockley a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Grayville got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Shockley. Bonne Terre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mike Shaw in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mike Shaw was the one to do the kick off. Errol Morin scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jon Beyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jon Beyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Errol Morin in the 57th minute of the match. Jon Beyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errol Morin in the 59th minute of play. Alfredo Hutchison kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bonne Terre's goalkeeper Jon Beyer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alonzo Hoff kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Alfredo Hutchison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bonne Terre's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Hutchison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quentin Clifford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Byron Samuel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Quentin Clifford when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mike Shaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Quentin Clifford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Grayville defense, Byron Kilgore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quentin Clifford. The Grayville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quentin Clifford should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Mike Shaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Clifford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Byron Kilgore had several of the Grayville's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Quentin Clifford as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bonne Terre played a much better game than Grayville and deserved their victory. The Grayville players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
