Roger Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Hutton in the 37th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Hutton came free, but Roger Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes Anacortes got a freekick which was hit by Craig Guerrero. After a rather tough play, Anacortes's Ignacio Harding got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Manchester United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anacortes were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonard Langston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Langston came free, but Roger Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Collin Rector had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauã Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradly Tatum having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Ignacio Harding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauã Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Roger Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shane Hutton. In the 82nd minute Leonard Langston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Manchester United's Kauã Loyola broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shane Hutton got free with Roger Gustavsson in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauã Loyola in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bradly Tatum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Leonard Langston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anacortes's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Langston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Gustavsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Gustavsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shane Hutton went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Anacortes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
