When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Langston was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Shane Hutton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chuck Matlock was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Bradly Tatum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Paige in the 55th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, Anacortes's Shane Hutton made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chuck Matlock was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anacortes's Bradly Tatum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Anacortes from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the game, Rodney Barrios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Copenhagen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anacortes the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Copenhagen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Barrios to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Langston in the 97th minute of play forced Copenhagen FC's goalkeeper Chuck Matlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacortes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
