Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Devin Higgins started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Francisco Downey came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Pendleton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Downey couldn't finish the play. When Marvin Lord, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 5 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bennett Russ was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bennett Russ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marvin Lord, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 13th match minute, Pendleton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luther Cormier to maneuver through the defense. Zackary Cunningham charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zackary Cunningham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Carpinteria getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Zackary Cunningham hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carpinteria's zone, Francisco Downey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennett Russ came out of the goal and Francisco Downey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Zackary Cunningham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pendleton's Ferdinand Chandler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bennett Russ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Downey in the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neal Crane during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shelton Watts hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Francisco Downey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Marvin Lord hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zackary Cunningham got in the 41st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ferdinand Chandler handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Marvin Lord's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bennett Russ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. When Neal Crane was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 48 minutes had been played. When Marvin Lord came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Pendleton fans jumped to their feet. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Downey to strike the kick off in the second half. Bennett Russ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Downey, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 54th minute, Devin Higgins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match Luther Cormier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bennett Russ skillfully saved the ball. Ferdinand Chandler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zackary Cunningham, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Pendleton booed when Carpinteria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shelton Watts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pendleton's Francisco Downey got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Javier Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Carpinteria's goalkeeper Bennett Russ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luther Cormier. Zackary Cunningham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinand Chandler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Zackary Cunningham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Chandler having to interfere. If Francisco Downey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes, Devin Higgins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpinteria and the Pendleton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Carpinteria got a freekick which was hit by Devin Higgins. Marvin Lord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bennett Russ having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Shelton Watts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Marvin Lord got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Francisco Downey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pendleton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Downey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zackary Cunningham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marvin Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Zackary Cunningham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
