Carpinteria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zackary Cunningham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute, Zackary Cunningham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th match minute, Carpinteria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Devin Higgins to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Devin Higgins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpinteria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grayville the free kick. Devin Higgins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Devin Higgins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Devin Higgins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin Clifford having to interfere. If Devin Higgins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carpinteria's Devin Higgins got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Jimmy Shockley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grayville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpinteria the free kick. Sidney Loyd, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 69th minute, Devin Higgins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Zackary Cunningham reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Quentin Clifford. The goal made the score 0-2. 74 minutes into the game, Brock Paquette was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpinteria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grayville the free kick. Brock Paquette hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Grayville's goalkeeper Quentin Clifford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zackary Cunningham. Bennett Russ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errol Morin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennett Russ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Errol Morin in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zackary Cunningham got free with Quentin Clifford in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carpinteria played a much better game than Grayville and deserved their victory. The Grayville players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
