Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zulfadli Soekarno in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brett Livingston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cyber EVO were furious when Alec Lowry was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 38 played minutes Cyber EVO got a freekick which was hit by Hunter Diaz. When Frank Kinsey fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goofball FC's protests and gave Frank Kinsey a yellow card for diving instead. If Zulfadli Soekarno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Weldon Pujols to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Cyber EVO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randall Sharp to maneuver through the defense. If Zulfadli Soekarno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
