Milan Crockett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin Clifford having to interfere. When Jerrod Mercado fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grayville's protests and gave Jerrod Mercado a yellow card for diving instead. Jerrod Mercado kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Nicky Mathews managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goofball FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicky Mathews was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quentin Clifford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Grayville booed when Goofball FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Kinsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Errol Morin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milan Crockett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin Clifford having to interfere. Milan Crockett struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Quentin Clifford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goofball FC. Weldon Pujols recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Goofball FC booed when Grayville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Shockley didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Grayville:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Goofball FC:s goal. Quentin Clifford came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Goofball FC's Nicky Mathews. But to his dismay, Nicky Mathews quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Quentin Clifford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milan Crockett in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Brent Aguilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Jacobson to make the kick off. If Milan Crockett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Weldon Pujols might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quentin Clifford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Weldon Pujols ran back to his position shaking his head. Quentin Clifford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milan Crockett in the 69th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Milan Crockett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grayville's Quentin Clifford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Grayville's Jimmy Shockley got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Nicky Mathews, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Goofball FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Frank Kinsey hit a great ball. In the 78th minute of the match Brent Aguilar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brett Livingston skillfully saved the ball. Weldon Pujols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Quentin Clifford made a huge save. With a little luck, Grayville's Quentin Clifford got control of the ball when Weldon Pujols tried to sneak it across the goal line.
