Gonçalo Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Emmanuel Finch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of East Taw AFC booed when Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephen Sykes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lazarus Clementia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnathan Stubbs having to make a save. After 15 minutes, Ted McCall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC and the East Taw AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted McCall to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to East Taw AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lazarus Clementia hit a great ball. Emmanuel Finch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karahan Kasım in the 34th minute of play forced Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's goalkeeper Johnathan Stubbs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo Meirelles got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kurt Souza. Karahan Kasım took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnathan Stubbs. Johnathan Stubbs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Johnathan Stubbs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazarus Clementia in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Emmanuel Finch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuel Finch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

East Taw AFC's Aldo Pringle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Finch in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanford Lyon in the 59th minute of play forced Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's goalkeeper Johnathan Stubbs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lazarus Clementia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Johnathan Stubbs made a huge save. The East Taw AFC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when East Taw AFC's Jarmo Tamberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC made a substitution. Nathaniel Kincaid replaced Brendan Jolly. The supporters of East Taw AFC booed when Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnathan Stubbs came out of the goal and Karahan Kasım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The East Taw AFC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when East Taw AFC's Sanford Lyon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Karahan Kasım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnathan Stubbs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarmo Tamberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lazarus Clementia got free with Johnathan Stubbs in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
